Divorce, Annulment, Dissolution: which is which?  All three can end a marriage, but each does so differently.  Annulment is when parties realize shortly after marrying that it was a mistake, or there was a flaw in the process.  A dissolution is when both parties agree to end the marriage, and are wiling to work out a reasonable separation agreement.  Divorce is used when parties cannot agree as to property distribution or child responsibilities.  New is the collaborative divorce—the friendly divorce
